Six of the Rittman Analytics team are swapping SQL for saddles and Looker for Lycra as we cycle from London to Brighton on Sunday, 14th September 2025 in support of the British Heart Foundation.
We’re proud to be pedalling for a purpose. Every mile we ride is to help fund life‑saving research into heart and circulatory diseases. The BHF has already helped halve death rates from these conditions in the UK, but there’s more to be done. Every day, hundreds of lives are still lost.
With your support, we can help change that. Just £24 could fund two hours of research by an early‑career scientist. Every pound helps whether it powers a lab or gets us up the next hill!
The Ride
On Sunday, 14 September 2025, we’ll take on the iconic London to Brighton Cycle Ride:
- Starting from Clapham Common, London
- Covering 55 miles through the Surrey and Sussex countryside
- Tackling the infamous Ditchling Beacon climb
- And finally crossing the finish line on the Brighton seafront
How you can help
Please donate whatever you can to help us hit our target.
If your company offers donation matching, this is a great time to use it.
Why BHF?
Heart and circulatory diseases affect millions of people and families across the UK. The BHF funds the researchers, breakthroughs, and front‑line initiatives that turn the tide from prevention through to treatment and recovery.
This will be the third time Mark Rittman has completed the London to Brighton ride to raise money for the BHF but the first time the whole team has joined him, so if you’re in Brighton on the day, come say hello at the seafront - we’ll be the data folk in lycra..!
