Segment Personas is a Customer Data Platform that merges each visitors’ cross-channel behaviour into a consolidated profile that we use to create a 360-degree profile of all of our clients’ interactions with our business.

Intercom’s integration with our Segment Personas’ customer data platform goes one steps further and provides Intercom with a much richer and complete 360-degree view of our clients’ previous payments, preferences and new opportunities we might be in-discussion with them on, making those interactions more relevant, more efficient and more likely to result in a successful client outcome.

So now, when clients log in to our site and we know who they are, we can make use of Intercom’s integration with Segment Connections and Segment Personas to provide data on what pages they’ve been looking at on the site, the status of their last payment and data on the preferences and interests they’ve shared with us before so that we can make the conversation more relevant to those interests.
